Students will learn basic chocolate work and candy making.
I have been teaching children to cook for 9 years and look forward to cooking with your student.
1 file available upon enrollmentsemisweet baking chocolate heavy cream (or full fat coconut milk for non dairy options) butter ingredients for flavoring (examples are orange zest, cardamom pods, coffee or tea or lavender) ingredients for coating (commonly used are finely chopped nuts, cocoa powder and shredded coconut)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should be able to complete all the steps themselves, but adults should remain close by just in case they need help. This class uses heavy cream. If your student has an allergy or does not eat dairy, full fat coconut milk is a fine substitution.
