In the classroom: Lisa uses a second, close-up camera which allow learners to see every detail that goes into the project.

Class structure:
Lisa will instruct by using the "I do, we do, you do" teaching technique in order to demonstrate, facilitate and motivate learners to make their own one of a kind turkey sculpture and decorate it for Thanksgiving.

Teacher to Learner Interaction:
Throughout the class Lisa will enjoy facilitating a positive, constructive conversation among learners by asking learners to share their artistic process, ask questions and cheer one another on! Learners will be asked to tell the class what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving. At the end of the class, students will have an opportunity to show and tell the class about the artwork they created that day. Time permitting, Lisa will lead learners in a sing along of “One Little, Two Little Three Little Turkeys.” Students may choose to add to their turkey sculpture artwork after the class has ended.

Interaction among learners:
Learners will be immersed in learner to learner interaction throughout the class as the goals of the class is to both create original, innovative artwork as well as build self-esteem and a sense of community. Should only one student sign up for the class, Lisa will facilitate a positive and meaningful discussion between herself and the individual learner.
