In this class students will learn the basic components it takes in order for a tornado to form. They will also learn a hands-on science craft that allows them to make their own tornado at home using only a few simple ingredients. The materials used to make the jar tornado are comparable to those required for a natural tornado to form. This will aid children in comprehending how and why tornadoes arise. The workshop will begin with the components needed to create a tornado. We'll use what...
Students will learn a basic understanding on how tornadoes form as well as safety precautions needed for when a tornado occurs in your backyard.
There will be no homework for this class! Only to enjoy their handmade tornado afterwards!
The Materials needed for a Tornado in a jar are: -1 Jar ( masson jar size) -Cool water the fills up the jar completely -liquid soap -glitter (any color works!) *we will only be using a tiny bit of soap and glitter :)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
