Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to create a gnome with socks while collaborating with others to embellish their creations. Students will gain a basic understanding of how to create patterns from simple items.
1 pair of white socks (I find mine at the dollar store)
1 pair of fun patterned socks (I find mine at the dollar store)
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Rice
Fake fur piece (the longer the fur the better, only takes a small amount)
Rubber bands
Strings
Scrap pieces of cardboard, foam board
Doll stuffing (small amounts)
Toilet paper rolls or paper towel roll
1/2" - 1" wooden bead (I use the ones that only have one hole)
embellishments of your choosing to decorate with: ribbon, buttons, bells, small ornaments, snowflakes, small pine cones, greenery

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
