Description
Class Experience
In this class learners will make a detailed book to lay out and explain the rules of the preterit tense in Spanish. I will explain how to create a book (we will go over a few choices). Then each section of the book will cover a "rule" of the preterit tense and will include examples of that rule in use. Learners will cover: When to use the preterit tense. Regular -ar verb conjugation Regular -er/-ir conjuagation The "FUJIY" monster - Each letter in FUJIY represents a group of irregular...
Students will have a deeper understanding of the Spanish preterit tense. Students will understand when to use this tense. Student will be able to conjugate regular and irregular verbs in the Spanish tense. Students will be able to recognize words and phrase that require the use of the preterit tense.
Homework is not assigned in this class.
Paper- for making a book (plain paper, colored paper, construction paper, cardstock) Something to write with Glue Scissors Hole punch (or anything to create a hole in the paper) String or yarn/ stapler (to hold book together) Any fun decorating materials you wish to use -totally optional
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is no formal assessment of the completed book.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
