Guinea pigs are the cutest and most adorable pocket pets in the world but they can be a little shy sometimes, can't they? Carrying them in a carrier helps them feel safe and keeps them warm and it's really quite fun. Carrying your pig in this carrier pouch gives them a chance to become more familiar with your voice and scent (which is great for bonding) while staying safe and warm inside. I've taught animal education classes and camps at museums, science centers and schools. I've owned guinea pigs for several years and currently have four. I'm also a certified mindfulness coach for kids!
- fleece measuring 18"W x 18"H - a strip of fleece measuring 22” x 2" - ruler or measuring tape - scissors - marker - fresh fruit/veg or treats for your pet
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will need help and supervision measuring and cutting with scissors
