Description

Class Experience

   In the beginning of the class we will learn or review (if students already know) the finger numbers, music alphabet, and the names of the white keys on the piano. 
Then we will go over the rhythm patterns in "Up on the Housetop" song.
Teacher will demonstrate how to play the song and the hand position. Student will practice playing the song.
Towards the end of the class we will play a game to reinforce naming the white keys and finding them on the piano by playing a game.

Students will learn finger numbers, music alphabet, names of the white keys, and basic rhythm patterns.
Students will learn how to play "Up on the Housetop" using pre-reading approach (playing by the letters, not by reading the notes on the music staff).
