Let's Learn Together! PreK & Kindergarten Circle/Story Time (5x/Week)

In this ongoing class PreK & Kindergarten students will follow a daily circle time routine that will allow students to practice reading, math, and social skills. Students will read books and sing fun songs together. Perfect for Homeschool!

Class Experience

In this Circle Time class, students will meet Monday-Friday for reading, math, and social learning! We will go through a basic circle time routine at the start of every day, followed by a specific learning activity in math, reading, or social skills. Class will center around a weekly theme as well. As time permits, we will have short read alouds throughout the week. Elephant and Piggie, Pigeon books, and fun Early Reader books are my go-to!

The daily circle time will include:
-Calendar
-Weather
-Alphabet
-Rote Counting
-A question of the day to give the kids time to chat

Our learning time will be:
Monday: Reading - Letter sounds/CVC words, 
Tuesday: Math - Counting objects, finding missing numbers, adding, etc.
Wednesday: Reading - Story day!
Thursday: Math
Friday: Social time - Show and tell, Read Aloud, SingAlongs, Learning Games, etc.


8/28: Seasons
9/4: Sports
9/11: Animals
9/18: Music

I will sometimes play a game with the students using a PowerPoint presentation. These games will involve much movement, so make sure the students have space to stand, jump, and even run in place.
