1 hour per week. I post several review pages for your child to complete after the recorded lesson if he/she needs some additional practice. These are not required; they are offered just for some fun extra practice! If your child would like to send me a photo of the completed pages, I would be happy to take a look at the pages and give feedback! Of course, if you or your child have any questions or concerns about the lesson, please don't hesitate to contact me! I will get back with you as soon as I can.Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
Each lesson will begin with a quick review of the letters and letter sounds. Then students will be introduced to three sight words that they will learn through a variety of fun and engaging ways. For example, I will use computer slides, games, flashcards, spelling out loud, and many more techniques to help your young reader get a good grasp on sight words. At the end each session, your child will write a sentence using the sight words from the lesson. I post extra practice pages that can be completed after each video lesson. If your child does one lesson per week, it will take 6 weeks to complete the entire class. It is possible to do 2 or 3 lessons per week; that will make the completion time 2 or 3 weeks. Since this is a self-paced class, your learner can work at his/her own speed!
