In this ongoing #academic phonics class, students will learn how to blend, read, and write CVC words in word families. This class is great for ESL learners as well!

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
In this ongoing beginning reading class, we will see and hear a short story from which students will identify words in our word family. Then we will practice saying sounds together, sounding out words on my screen with the help of picture clues, and playing games to look for pictures and determine which pictures belong in our word family and which ones do not! We will also write missing sounds together to make words on our printout. But do not worry if you are unable to get this worksheet...
Students will learn to blend and read consonant-vowel-consonant words.
A worksheet for each class will be available for download upon enrollment. I will also offer the story as an option for the parent to print for additional practice after class. In addition, I will provide flashcards after every class that the students can collect from class to class to keep the practice going!
