Beginner Level
Throughout this course, students will learn how to multiply numbers 0-12 fluently. This course will be held two times per week for a total of three weeks (6 classes in all). Each class will last for 45 minutes, and will focus on multiplying by specific numbers. We will learn by use of flashcards, timed fluency drills, multiplication songs, games, and lots of student practice and interaction! Since this course is for beginners, prior knowledge of multiplication facts is not required, however any previous experience is great! Class 1- Multiplying by 0, 1, and 2 Class 2 -Multiplying by 3 and 4 Class 3- Multiplying by 5 and 10 Class 4- Multiplying by 6 and 7 Class 5- Multiplying by 8 and 9 Class 6- Multiplying by 11 and 12

At times, students may be required to print out materials provided by their teacher prior to that day's class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Ms. Mickels and am I so excited to meet you!
I attended Florida State University, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I currently hold both my Reading and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsements.
After graduating from Florida State, I have spent the last 7 years as an Elementary School Teacher. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grade. I even spent a year teaching Art! As an elementary school teacher, I am familiar with teaching all subject areas including, reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies.
My goal is to instill a love for learning within each student I teach. I firmly believe that if a child has confidence and a love for what they are doing, they can be successful in everything they do!
Outside of teaching, I absolutely love watching college football and playing with my two French Bulldogs. Looking forward to teaching you something new!Reviews
