Class Experience

Hello there! After everyone has a turn to introduce themselves, we will talk about what the words compare and contrast mean, and I will give examples of how to compare and contrast everyday items. Next, we will read an informational book about polar bears and another informational book about penguins. We will be watching read aloud videos for these two books. The first book we will be reading is National Geographic Readers: Polar Bears by Laura Marsh. The second book we will dive into is...

Students will understand what it means to compare and contrast, and learners will be able to compare and contrast two items/topics by the end of class.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
