Class Experience

Have your child join us in a class all about the letter Ff!

Learners will spend their time in class being able to identify letters in upper-case, lower-case, and sound!

The class will begin with the teacher introducing the letter in upper-case and lower-case and explain what sound it makes. The teacher will then try to trick the learners by showing a different letter.

The learners will then participate in show-and-tell and share 1-2 items with the class that they brought from home that start with the letter Ff at the same time, learners will be listening out for the sound the letter Ff makes. This allows for application to real-world/everyday items they see or use at home!

The learners will then work on 2 Letter Ff worksheets in which they will be identifying the letter Ff in a set of letters, coloring, and writing the letter Ff. The 2nd worksheet will be a letter hunt game! The students will also cut/paste the letters to matching boxes!

The learners will lastly draw a Fish out of the letter F!

Note: All activities level of difficulty will be based on student output during class. The teacher will always adjust based on the learner’s needs.

The learners will be expected to play through games and question-answer activities. The learner will be expected to participate in class in order for the teacher to perform informal assessment that the learner is meeting the objectives.
