In this ongoing course, learners will explore a range of Science subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include experiments, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Learners will be encouraged to observe, explore, question and share what they learn. Classes will include all elements of STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. These are all areas of learning that our kids need to be comfortable with to excel in the future. STEM makes creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors. Please note, there will be reading and writing tasks in some classes. There will also be maths challenges that suit the theme of the week. Please do check the whole description when choosing this course for your learner. Supply List
There will be an activity sheet to download or print each week. There may also be some household items needed for experiments. These will be posted in the classroom by 7pm PST on Sunday each week. Learners need to bring a notebook, pen, pencil and crayons to each class.
