This class is taught in Spanish.
To encourage speaking opportunities and improve communication skills by boosting students' confidence so that they can eventually speak independently.
I have taught over 2000 English as second language classes online 1:1 as well as in groups. I have both a TEFL and TESOL certificates. I am also trained as a children and family health advisor (I have an Early Learning NVQ3) and have experience in working with children in a group setting since 2010. I have a Bachelor of Childhood Social and Moral Development.
Learners are encouraged to practice with friends and family new vocabulary.
Young learners can bring a toy or crayons and papers to share and show their understanding
Informal assessment during the lesson.
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Please take a few minutes to watch the following video on how your learner can draw on the screen while we are in class. This is an important feature to know, so that class for your learner can be more interactive and fun! Simply click on the following: View options > Annotate > Draw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrTY026sgIY All students will be muted when needed, to minimize background noise. Please ensure to spend some time with your learner, teaching them the mute and unmute features as I am unable to unmute them. Or I ask that you sit with your learner in order to provide that support. I want to make sure every learner gets a chance to speak and ask questions when it is their turn.
