Let's Learn Spanish! Beginner Level - Ages 8 - 10

This class, is for students who are beginning to learn Spanish. They will learn basic vocabulary related to colors, numbers, objects, animals, seasons and people. They will also learn how to introduce themselves and describe activities using short sentences and verbs in simple present and past tenses.

Each lesson is designed for students to actively participate throughout the class. The sessions will also include a drawing activity and a story; these activities will vary depending on the week's topic.
We will start each class with a short conversation activity; students will talk about how they are feeling, say the date and describe the current weather, followed by the week's lesson. The last part of the class will include reading practice and comprehension.
Because this is an ongoing class, the content doesn't build from the previous lesson; however, we will do a quick review of the pronouns and vocabulary at the beginning of each session. The first 4 lessons are planned as

the following weeks, we are going to learn the verbs "gustar" (to like), "tener" to have; moreover, we will study how to conjugate the regular verbs in the present tense and form sentences.
