Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Do you love Science? In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a different scientist, inventor, engineer or explorer each week in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young scientist.

Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include experiments, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, songs, videos and much more.  Learners will be encouraged to observe, explore, question and share what they learn. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs.

Supply List
Learners will need the activity sheets, a pencil, and crayons each week. Some classes may require things to be cut out before the class and for learners to bring glue to class with them. Some classes involve a simple experiment. The required materials will be posted to the classroom. Please print out or download the relevant handouts in advance of each class.  These will be uploaded to the 'Classroom' by Monday each week.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
