This one-time course is a great way for your student explore the basics of the piano and get a feel for piano lessons before committing to weekly lessons. Students will learn be able to name the parts of the piano and describe how it works. Students will demonstrate the proper posture and hand shape and be able to identify finger numbers. Students will be able to play "Hot Cross Buns" on the piano.
I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching Music from the University of Southern California and have over ten years of experience teaching both privately and in the public school system. I believe that everyone is musical and that learning music should be fun! My goal is for all students who take lessons from me gain a well-rounded musical education, as well as a love of music that will last a lifetime.
