In this class learners will learn letter sounds a fun and engaging way. We will in part use the Lively Letters program, a researched based program designed to teach letter sounds.

Welcome to Let's Learn Our Letter Sounds a Preschool Class! During our time together we will be using parts of the Lively Letters© ( 2001, 2007, 2020) to guide our instruction. Miss Katelynn has been trained and given permission from it’s creators to use this program with you. Students will learn the letter names and sounds for all 26 letters.
Miss Katelynn has been a teacher for the past seven years. For the past two years she has been working as a special education teacher for students in kindergarten through third grade. Miss Katelynn has been trained to use the Lively Letters program by its creators Nancy Telian and Penny Castagnozzi. She loves to teach and share her passion for learning with her students. It is Miss Katelynn's goal to show her students that they can be successful in the classroom and help them gain the confidence they need to do so!

This class may use some Google apps such as Jamboard and Google Slides. Google does not allow children under 13 to create their own accounts. It is recommended that parents set up a Google account for their learner using family link. Students will be accessing Jamboard and Google slides during class time.
