Students will learn to use their hands to sign the ABC in Sign Language and will learn a new word in ASL each class.
I worked at the special education unit with my local school district for a school year and would teach morning circle activities for a class of 8-12 students with special needs. Lessons included teaching them to sign their ABC's, numbers, colors and shapes, among other ASL words to help them communicate.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
