In this ongoing program, learners will develop their maths skills. This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language. Week of 2/12/2024 - Control Systems and PID Controllers Week of 9/12/2024 - Path Planning and Navigation Week of 16/12/2024 - Introduction to Robotics and Mathematical Foundations - robotics and its applications in various fields Week of 23/12/2024 - Introduction to Robotics and Mathematical Foundations - mathematical concepts Week of 30/12/2024 - Introduction to Robotics and Mathematical Foundations - hands-on activity Week of 6/1/2025 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - Cartesian and polar coordinate systems Week of 13/1/2025 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - translation, rotation, and scaling Week of 20/1/2025 - Coordinate Systems and Transformations - robot movement simulation Week of 27/1/2025 - Kinematics and Motion Planning Week of 3/2/2025 - Sensors and Perception - sensors used in robotics Further classes will be added.
