In this ongoing class, the children will learn a different letter each week. We will explore letter sounds, write both upper and lower case letters, and learn vocabulary that starts with that letter in a fun, interactive, environment.

This class is just right for children who are ready to start learning letters or can already recognize some or all of their letters. In this ongoing class, we will meet once a week, for 25 minutes, to focus on one upper and lower case letter (Aa) in each class. Each week will be a different letter in which the children will learn the letter name, sound, how to write the letter, and vocabulary that starts with that letter. 1. I would like the children to have some paper and writing utensils (pencils, markers, crayons) for class so they can practice writing the letters each week. 2. Each week, I would like the children to bring ONE object (or a drawing) to class that starts with the letter of the week (posted in the classroom at the beginning of each week). I can not wait to see what you find! Thank you!
