In this ongoing class, your child will learn all of the letter sounds (A-Z). We will learn a hand motion that goes with each letter and we will practice writing the letter. Learning all of the letters and sounds is essential to reading literacy. This class will last for 9 weeks.

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten
This ongoing class is perfect for your Preschool or Kindergarten student who is just starting to learn their letters and sounds. This class will meet three times a week and we will learn 1 letter during each class. In addition to learning the letter, the sound that the letter makes, and a hand motion to go with each sound, we will also learn to write these letters! Students will have an opportunity to learn 3 letters of the alphabet each week. They will learn the letters and their sounds and reinforce this knowledge by learning to write the letter. Students will also have an opportunity to build a classroom community by sharing with their friends.
Homework Offered
I will provide a worksheet for each letter for your learner to use as extra practice. These worksheets are completely optional but can be a great tool to reinforce what we learn each day.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Please bring an object that begins with the letter of the day. For example, for the first class you may bring an apple and for the second class you might bring a ball. It is absolutely fine if your child doesn't have an item as I will always have one. Also, please bring either a piece of paper and a pencil (or crayon), or a whiteboard for letter writing practice.
