Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this Ongoing SMALL group class we will meet 2X PER WEEK and your little learner will learn ALL THE LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET- formation for both lower and uppercase, the letter's sound and name - as well as how to identify words that begin with that sound! We will learn TWO LETTERS per week- we will fully immerse ourselves in that sound/letter! We will IDENTIFY words that start with our letter, we will CHANT our letter, SORT our letter, sing SONGS about our letter and learn ACTIONS to help...
Students will identify a letter sound. Students will identify a letter name. Students will write the lower case and upper case letter - first by practicing strokes, then with "skywriting" and finally with crayon/marker. Students will identify words that begin with the letter sound. Students will develop phonemic awareness.
I have been a Private Tutor for 16 years focusing on early literacy, phonics, reading and writing. I have been teaching children Online for 6 years. I have been teaching ESL Online to children all over the world for 5 years. I have been homeschooling my own children for 11 years. I have been teaching Preschool Circle Time, ELA and history at a Homeschool Co-op for 10 years.
