This is an online course for students to learn basic Japanese including greetings, phrases, hiragana, katakana and more. The class requires minimum two students. If less, the class will be cancelled or postponed.

Class Experience

This is a fun interactive class for group setting to learn basic Japanese. Students can join in any of the class as we will learn based on different theme picked for the class. There will be a theme for each week and/or pick a hiragana character for the session, and we will learn words, phrase or writing based on the theme or a hiragana character.  Students can pick words or phrases based on the theme to learn them in Japanese. The complexity of the content for the class is determined by the group sizes, ages and other factors. The most important thing is that students to have fun learning Japanese in the class. No prior Japanese language experience is necessary as long as students are willing to learn. Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language from University at Albany (SUNY)

I grew up in the countryside of Japan and moved to United States to pursue bachelor degree, and expanded international studies in France, Spain and Mexico. I also have early childhood education in addition to BA degree. I am currently teaching after school programs at various elementary schools.
