Description
Class Experience
The classroom will teach the individual sound or sounds of each of the letters of the alphabet. Next, the students will learn how to write each of the individual letters as they create words by putting the individual sounds together. Then the students will learn how to create sentences by putting the words together. The teacher will encourage creativity in each student as the student will build their own created sentences and then writing the sentences with the teacher's guidance so the...
This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to say all of the sounds of the single letters, write the letters correctly, and create words with the sounds as well as read words using the short vowel sounds.
The student's will be encouraged to use flashcards with the letters on them to practice the sounds in between classes. And when the sight words and CVC words are introduced to use flashcards to practice at home reading the words.
Whiteboard and dry erase marker or pencil and paper to write on in each class.
The teacher will give the parents weekly updates on the students strengths as well as ways to help the student overcome weaknesses.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
