30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class, students will learn the fundamentals and drills in order to perform a handstand and cartwheel with USA Olympian Ms. Hope. We will begin each class with an introduction, followed by a 5 minute warm up and stretch, next we will break down the handstand and cartwheel to gain better understanding of how it is to be performed and finally the students will have the opportunity to work on their handstand and cartwheel. As with any activity, there is the possibility of injury. A parent or adult is recommended to be present during the class.

Supply List
The students will need a padded surface free from walls, tables and chairs.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi. My name is Ms. Hope. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences degreee from the University of Georgia. I'm a retired USA Olympic and NCAA gymnast. I have 26 years experience as a gymnastics club owner and coach. I enjoy teaching and encouraging young children, as well as, help them to live a happier and healthier life. I love to have fun in the classroom through encouragement and providing positive feedback.
I have a 17 year old daughter, a dog named Jacky. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, cooking and home decor.
