We will be meeting twice a week for 6 weeks in order to go through the various categories of Greek vocabulary. The material will be posted after each class and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 6 weeks students will be guided through a variety of vocabulary, role-play, games, and songs. This class is to get students familiar with speaking Greek, listening to Greek, and recognizing Greek words! We will practice the vocabulary for things that are in their world so that they are able to relate to their learning while they practice! Students will learn basic vocabulary including conversation starters, numbers, colours, greetings, etc. Students will also practice their vocabulary skills with each other in the Outschool classroom by doing introductions (in Greek) to one another, socializing, playing games, singing songs, or doing a show-and-tell. Week Topic Week 1 Introduction - Greetings in Greek Week 2 Exploring Greek Letters and Learning a Greek Song Week 3 Simple Sentences and Show-and-Tell Week 4 Numbers, Days of the Week, Months of the Year Week 5 Weather, Colours, Shapes, and Playing a Game Week 6 Greek Song, Review and Practice
