In this Basic Greek course we will first learn how to introduce ourselves in Greek and greet each other. We will then learn how to read and say the Greek word for the 4 seasons and types of weather. We will then practice the titles of each of the types of weather through games and test our memory. This course is made for students who are not familiar with Greek but would like to learn. The instruction will be both in English and Greek so that the words may be easily translated and the student can easily follow along. This is a series of classes than can be taken in any order. Look out for some of my other lessons where we learn colors, numbers, family members, emotions and much more!

Hello! My name is Eleni. Welcome to my classroom!
Here on outschool I teach Greek to all level students from beginner (meaning students who aren't familiar with the language at all) to advanced level where we can practice our free talk as well as reading and writing fluently.
I have been teach for 15 years. In addition to Greek I teach English to foreign students, reading, writing, math and speech to name a few. I hold a Bachelors Degree and graduated with honors.
I truly believe the best way to get through to a student is to teach in a fun and friendly manner. It is important for students to enjoy the lesson and this way they can get the most out of it. This is what you will find in my classroom. We learn through play and have fun with every class!
In addition to teaching children of all ages, I have little ones of my own and with this wonderful experience I truly understand children and each of their needs. I look forward to sharing this in my classroom.
