In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore a range of Geography subjects in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. Some classes will include breakout rooms. Learners will be encouraged to explore, question and share what they learn. Although some themes may look similar, material, classes and learning objectives are different. The class will be interactive and supportive to cater to learners of different learning styles. We are a team of experienced teachers who are calm, patient and supportive whilst ensuring that the children are constantly learning. The environment will be dynamic and learners will actively participate throughout the class. As experienced teachers, we are capable of adapting our style to suit the learners. Please do message us with any additional needs the students may have such as difficulties with Communication and interaction; Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); difficulties with Cognition and learning; Social, emotional and mental health difficulties; Sensory and/or physical needs. This course is a full Geography course which develops learners, their scientific knowledge and their critical thinking skills.
Supply List
Learners will need paper, pen, pencil and crayons for each class. Some classes may require things to be cut out before the class and for learners to bring glue to class with them. Some classes involve a simple experiment. The required materials will be posted to the classroom. Please print out or download the relevant handouts in advance of each class. These will be uploaded to the 'Classroom' by the end of Sunday each week.
