Come and join us on an adventure as we visit a different country or place each week. In this Ongoing Class, learners will explore places around the world in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young explorers. We will also explore a geographical theme related to the weekly class, for example how volcanoes are formed, how rice grows, how earthquakes occur, how mountains are formed. What will each class involve? Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, videos and much more. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs. Other Details
Supply List
Learners will need paper, pen, pencil and crayons for each class. Some classes may require things to be cut out before the class and for learners to bring glue to class with them. Some classes involve case studies which may require research to be done before the class. The required materials will be posted to the classroom. Please print out or download the relevant handouts in advance of each class. These will be uploaded to the 'Classroom' by Monday each week.
