In this Geography class, we learn about a different country each week. We will learn about different types of maps, scale, directions, map symbols, legends, and contour lines. Suitable for explorers! ESL Friendly. What will each class involve? Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Supply List
Learners will need paper, pen, pencil and crayons for each class. Some classes may require things to be cut out before the class and for learners to bring glue to class with them. Some classes involve case studies which may require research to be done before the class. The required materials will be posted to the classroom. Please print out or download the relevant handouts in advance of each class. These will be uploaded to the 'Classroom' by Monday each week.
