Description

Class Experience

Students will build on basic French vocabulary and practice everyday dialog and conversational sentences in a variety of settings.
As with Let's Learn French (1), Students are provided with a weekly downloadable worksheet/activity they can do outside of class, along with a brief dialog we will be practicing all week in class. This is optional, but I encourage students and parents to utilize this resource for added reinforcement and practice. Plus, both are fun to do with your kids! The activity/worksheet may take 5 minutes to 10 minutes outside of class. The dialog can be reviewed briefly each day to prepare learner for class if needed.
I recommend keeping a loose leaf binder which you can keep all of the printouts in for reference, especially for those students who like using something they can access easily and touch, as opposed to practicing off a screen. I know I prefer hands on materials! I also recommend keeping a single subject notebook that they can take notes in (if this aids in their learning style). Of course a pencil and eraser readily available is good to have on hand as well!
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
