Learners will focus on a different problem commonly faced in the FCE and CAE exam. Through this course, learners will also develop their grammar, spelling, vocabulary and comprehension skills. ESL Friendly - Suitable for B2 and C1 Learners. What will the classes entail? Each class comes with activity sheets to be completed during and after class. Learners are welcome to post their completed work to the classroom. Classes are interactive and our teaching style is dynamic and engaging. What's your teaching style? We are a team of experienced teachers who are calm, patient and supportive whilst ensuring that the children are constantly learning. The environment will be dynamic and learners will actively participate throughout the class. As experienced teachers, we are capable of adapting my style to suit the learners. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other? Students will be active participants throughout each class. Student talk time is expected to be significantly higher than teacher talk time. What kind of class is this? This is an ongoing live class. This class meets once a week for 35 minutes. Learners will be encouraged to speak to the teacher, in pairs and individually. Learners will complete some of the activity sheets in the class. What will be covered in each class? Week of 18/11/24 - Verbs and Objects Week of 25/11/24 - Perfect Tenses Week of 2/12/24 - Present Perfect / Past Perfect Week of 9/12/24 - Modal Verbs Week of 16/12/24 - Collocations and Phrasal Verbs Week of 23/12/24 - Common Confusions Week of 30/12/24 - Apostrophes and Spelling Mistakes Week of 6/1/25 - Confusing Nouns and Adjectives Week of 13/1/25 - Expressing Opinions We look forward to being part of your learning journey! The activity sheets will be uploaded to the classroom on Sunday each week at 7pm PST. Please bring these to class with you along with a notebook, pencil, and crayons.
