Class Experience
This is a personalised one-time class to introduce learners to my Bilingual English and Spanish Circle Time lessons or one of my other courses for older learners. Learners will be introduced to new vocabulary words and sentences related to keywords that they will be able to practice through various games/songs (please see below). I speak English and Spanish at a native bilingual level. I grew up speaking both languages simultaneously, English at school and Spanish at home and in the community. I also lived in South America in the beautiful country of Venezuela for 3 years where I learned more about the foods and culture. It is an experience and skill I enjoy passing on and it’s never too early to start. *The time slots offered can be altered. Please message me directly to arrange the time that fits your schedule and I will check my availability* **This is not a full immersion class, but I will speak in Spanish at times (with an English translation directly following) to expose students to more conversational Spanish** I offer various curriculums that you can choose from. If your child is interested in a specific topic, I will gladly accommodate your child's needs. I offer bilingual circle time in English and Spanish. Parents are welcome to message me about their child's interests so that I could tailor the curriculum to their child's needs for 1:1 private lessons. These classes can also be just free-talk/conversational classes, learners are welcome to suggest topics. I have taught over 2000 lessons to young and older learners ages 3-18 for many companies over the years. I also worked for the National Health Service as a Health Advisor working with both primary and high school learners from the ages of 2-18. There will be the use of props/flashcards and other visual aids. I also use TPR (total physical response) throughout my lesson to help give clear instructions. There will be a mixture of error correction, depending on the learner's understanding and abilities and to try to avoid unnecessary interruption if the learner is expressing themself (when appropriate it will be instant). Mistakes will happen and they are a part of learning, encourage your child to not be shy and continue practising.
Learning Goals
To encourage speaking opportunities and improve communication skills by boosting students' confidence so that they can eventually speak independently using both English and Spanish. To have fun learning things in Spanish.

Parental Guidance
Please take a few minutes to watch the following video on how your learner can draw on the screen while we are in class.
This is an important feature to know, so that class for your learner can be more interactive and fun!
Simply click on the following:
View options > Annotate > Draw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrTY026sgIY
All students will be muted when needed, to minimize background noise. Please ensure to spend some time with your learner, teaching them the mute and unmute features as I am unable to unmute them. Or I ask that you sit with your learner in order to provide that support. I want to make sure every learner gets a chance to speak and ask questions when it is their turn.
Supply List
Younger learners can bring a toy to share. Some crayons and paper to draw and share comprehension.
