In this class, the students will start by learning red, yellow, green, blue, orange, purple, brown, black, white, gray, and pink. They will practice saying the words and identifying the colors when they see them. They will also practice reading the words. Then the students will practice identifying the colors of different objects that are shown in pictures. The students take turns matching the color words to pictures. The students will practice using the color words in sentences. For example, "The dog is brown." The students will say the color words as a group. The students will practice reading the color words together. Then the students will take turns practicing saying what color the objects are. The students may bring one toy or picture to class to ask the other students what color it is.

I love to use my degrees in psychology, history, political science, and biology to help students learn. I teach reading, ESL, history, and science classes.
