Class Experience

Learners will create a bracelet with a secret message using binary code. Binary is a system used by computers to relay information that only uses 2 numbers 0 and 1.

Students will learn to count using the binary system and then how to read letters in binary. They will practice making different letters and deciphering different letters/words from binary to English. Then they will create a bracelet with their name in binary on it. Students will create these messages by ordering different color beads on pipe cleaners.
