In this class, students will be learning some basics of American Sign Language (ASL).  They will learn their senses.

What to expect in class and what order:
1) I will teach them different senses.

If we have time left over, we will do one or all of the following:
1) We will practice the senses they learned.
2) We will play "Simon Says" using the words.  Example: Simons says... "show me 'smell'," "show me 'touch'," "show me 'see'," "show me 'taste'," etc.
3) I will do something such as look at a toy, smell candy, touch a stuffed animal, listen to the students, or pretend to eat ice cream.  Students can guess and sign what they think I'm doing.
4) Create sentences with the senses they learned, such as "I see a cat," "I smell chicken," "I am touching the toy," etc.  If we do sentences, they will learn a bit more words such as "cat," "chicken," "toy," and more.
