Students will learn how to sign the colors and some animals in ASL. This class is also beneficial for hand exercise and finger movement.
I finished two semesters of ASL in college and am still studying.
Optional: After class, students may practice what they learned by signing the colors of objects or items in their house. They can sign animals they see at a zoo, home, outside, or maybe at a pet store.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
You may stay within sight of your child if you'd like to learn some ASL for yourself. If not, that's fine. The kids should do great in class; no adult guidance is required. If you decide to supervise or watch the class, please remain off-camera for security purposes. Thank you!
