In this one-time class, we will briefly sing the ABCs song and then focus on the letter "A". What words start with "A"? What sound does "A" make? What makes "A" so unique? We will review all the answers to these questions in this class. PDF worksheet files are provided to parents to be printed out for use during the class. Students will learn, improve, and master their knowledge of the letter "Aa": what sound it makes, what an uppercase and lowercase "Aa" looks like, how to write the letter "Aa", and what words begin with the letter Aa. After this class, students will be able to identify the letter "Aa".
I have been a home educator for the last 3 years, going on my fourth year. I have taught my 6-year-old how to identify all letters of the alphabet and their sounds, read, write, and many other subjects. I have also taught my 4-year-old how to write, and identify all letters of the alphabet.
1 file available upon enrollment- An item in the home that begins with the letter "A" - Worksheets that are provided to be printed prior to class in order to be used during class - Scissors (parent is encouraged to help if the student has trouble cutting) - Glue -Crayons, colored pencils, or markers (whichever your child is most comfortable using) -PlayDoh -Construction paper (to be used as a backdrop for craft worksheet)
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
