Students will learn all the facts about foxes in a fun quiz like way, like where they can be found, what they eat, the different types and my favorite if it is in the cat or dog family. We will read the hilarious story The Stinky Cheese Man to see what happened to the sly fox and create a fox mask to go fox hunting.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Dawn Stane and I have been a teacher and librarian for the last 21 years the last 2 years has been as a 2nd grade classroom teacher. I have taught in every classroom grade from 1st through 8th and was a librarian for years for grades prek-8th. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education 1-6, a Master's of Science degree and National Board Certified in Library Media and Information Technology, certification in middle school Science and Social Studies, and currently working towards a Graduate Certificate in English as a Second Language. My hobbies are baking and creating art through drawing, painting and crafting.
I believe life long learning is essential in this everchanging world. It is important for students to well rounded and well versed in basic Reading and Math skills. I also believe everyone needs a hobby or creative outlet. I would love to take the teaching skills I have devoloped over the last 21 years and my hobbies and bring them to your children.
