In this one-time class we will learn about the preamble to the Constitution and view amendments about civil rights.

Teacher will introduce pre-amble to constitution to students. Teacher will use power-point to highlight major points in constitution. Teacher will use I Do, We Do, You Do approach. After showing power-point teacher will lead discussion with students about what rights are given to U.S. citizens in the Constitution. Teacher will display questions about constitution and then have students answer individually and discuss answers given. Teacher will wrap up session by asking individually what students have learned about the constitution.
