Description

Class Experience

Students will learn what a houseplant is! We will identify houseplants students may have in their homes and the students will get to see a variety of houseplants. We will take a brief dive into what houseplants need to grow: soil, water and light. Students will be able to see various types of soil and soil amendments. They will learn about the importance of water and sunlight. 

Students will learn about the Pothos! Students will learn how to properly say the name, where this plant comes from...

**The goal of this class is to allow students to start their journey of learning about houseplants and nurturing their little green thumbs.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
