Animal Biology - Let's Learn Facts About Animals in This Fun Class!
In this 6 week class, we will learn facts about a new animal each week. Your child will be asked to research and come to class with information on a new animal to share in week 6. Great for an extra Homeschool class or ESL practice too.

1 hour per week. Each child will be asked to research our animal of the week before coming to class. I ask to come with a couple of facts that they found interesting.Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
We will be learning about a new animal weekly in this on-going class! Feel free to jump in at any week. Each week will focus on fun and interesting facts that get us all learning something new! Please bring art supplies to class if time allows us to draw our animal. In week 6, I would love for each child to pick an animal and come to class prepared to discuss what they have learned. We're all going to have fun learning from each other! Below you will find our topics for each week. Week 1: Humpback Whales Week 2: Red Panda Week 3: Hippos Week 4: Owls Week 5: Stonefish Week 6: Choose your own animal and come to class prepared to share. :) If you have any questions or concerns, always feel free to reach out to me. Learning Goals
Students will gain knowledge and facts about animals. Students will use their listening and speaking skills in class. They will be free to ask questions as they process new information. They will also be practicing research skills as they look for fun facts outside of class time.

Optional to bring a notebook/pencil for note taking if you'd like. Have art supplies handy for drawing our animals too.

Hello, my name is Nicole. I have been in the education field for 24 years. I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Helping children build speaking and listening skills brings me so much joy! I have been an English tutor for 7 years and have a love for all things Language Arts! I have a degree in Social Sciences, I'm TESOL certified, a First Aid and CPR instructor, and a homeschooling momma too!

A fun fact about me is that.....I’m a dance mom! My youngest daughter is on a competition team, so that means a lot of fun weekends. We travel locally and she competes in hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet!
