In this one-time class, students will learn all about robots! Humanoids robots? Industrial bots? Space robots? Drones? Learners will also flex their art skills and use their imaginations to draw their own robots.
Class experience
Have you ever wished you had a robot that could clean your room or walk your dog? Robots are used all around the world to do all sorts of tasks -- boring ones, dangerous ones, helpful ones. In this class, students learn common types of robots and design their own. Class centers around a colorful google slide presentation filled with images, short video clips, a few jokes and more. Students need to come to class with paper to draw on and pencils, markers, crayons, or coloring pencils etc. If students prefer to use an alternative material - like Lego Bricks, blocks, clay etc. they should bring those to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
