Mastery Evaluation
1-2 hours per week. Students will receive both verbal and digital feedback on their mock interview.Grading
Students will receive a "grade" with their digital feedback. This will not be a letter grade, but instead, a rating on how they performed in their mock interview sections (communication skills, eye contact, articulation, overall performance).Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Each learner will go through a mock interview with myself. Prior to the interview (class) date, the student will be asked to select a "job" that they are interviewing for. If possible, the student will be asked to submit their resume prior to the interview as well. This is to ensure that the student and potential employer (myself) may ask the most appropriate questions. This interview will ask the student similar questions that they would receive in an interview, as well as, extending into conversation that could come from these questions. After the mock interview, students will receive verbal feedback on their performance and potential areas of improvement. Students will also receive a digital copy of this feedback to refer to later on.

Learners will be confident in their interview and communication skills.Learners will have practice with and knowledge of potential questions they will be asked in an interview.Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students need to have taken some type of business or career readiness course from which they have learned about resume writing and interviewing.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am a licensed educator who has been in education for 8 years. I have both a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in education and sport management (respectively). My educators license allows me to teach science, health, PE, college and career readiness, and any business courses. Both the college and career readiness and business endorsements required that I do extensive studying in those areas before passing a required test.
