This private class is for anyone looking to have an elf-themed birthday party! We will do a craft, make some snacks, play games, and sing "Happy Birthday!"

In this one-time class, we will celebrate your child's birthday with some fun elf-themed activities! We will begin by introducing ourselves and how we know the birthday child. Next, we will have time to talk and share what we love about elves! Children are welcome to share about all the silly things their elves did over the holiday season! Then we will become elves by making a craft and doing an activity that helps us find our own elf name! We will also play some games, do some coloring, read a book about elves, and finish by singing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday child! All activities are flexible based on the wishes of the birthday child/family. Please contact me if you are interested in having me plan a fun elf-themed birthday party for your child!

-printed coloring sheets sent upon enrollment -1 sheet of green construction paper -cotton ball -scissors -glue -markers/crayons -stapler (with parent support) -1 graham cracker -frosting (with red and green food coloring) -1 mini marshmallow -3-5 raisins or brown M & M's -1 ice cream cones (the small waffle or sugar cone type works best) -Twizzler Pull 'n' Peel -Christmas sprinkles OR colored M & M's

Hello! I am so excited to be a part of Outschool and to share my love of teaching with your child! My mother was a teacher and I’ve always known that teaching is my passion! I am a licensed teacher who taught elementary grades for 12 years. I was also a reading specialist at the elementary level. I’ve been teaching on Outschool since 2020 and I taught ESL students online for three years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Literacy. I am currently a licensed teacher in the state of Ohio.
Currently, I stay at home with my own three children, but I love being able to still create lessons and teach from home. I absolutely LOVE watching kids learn something new! I enjoy creating new lessons to teach online and also to share lessons that have helped my students in the past. I love to engage students in discussions and hands-on lessons to help make learning fun! I also keep class sizes smaller so kids have a chance to interact with both their peers and myself. I strive to make students feel comfortable and to be engaged in my classroom. If you see a class that doesn’t fit your schedule, please let me know and I will do my best to make accommodations.
