In this 5-week self-paced (asynchronous) class, we will have a blast learning how to identify/count numbers 0-100. We will use various objects, pictures, funny songs, and an online whiteboard to help us learn each number! Each lesson will include pre-recorded, engaging educational videos. Watch and interact with them at the time that is most convenient for you. That's one thing I love about self-paced classes. Everybody's schedule is different, and we live in a variety of time zones. It makes it easier when we can focus on our learning when it is best for us to. Each lesson will also include a fun learning activity. The instructions will be posted with each assignment. All learning activities are optional. Class learning objectives: Lesson 1: Learn how to identify/count numbers 0-20 (Naruto theme). Lesson 2: Learn how to identify/count numbers 21-40 (Pokemon theme). Lesson 3: Learn how to identify/count numbers 41-60 (Spiderman theme). Lesson 4: Learn how to identify/count numbers 61-80 (unicorn theme). Lesson 5: Learn how to identify/count numbers 81-100 (dragon theme). This class is loaded with fun! It is important that we learn and master basic math skills before we can move to more complex math skills. I hope your engines are ready! I hope you're ready for blast off! This class is also great for children with special needs as the lessons are taught at a slower, more understandable pace (Autism, ADHD friendly).
Parental Guidance
Parent/s please feel free to offer any additional assistance to your learner if you see him/her struggling to complete any of the learning activities that we go over in class. These will be fun optional activities that we will do once per lesson. Instructions will be posted with each assignment.
Pre-Requisites
No pre-reqs required for this class.
Supply List
Learners can use various objects around their home when practicing the math skills that we go over in class. Paper/pencil or anything to write on and write with will be necessary in order to solve the math problems that will be given during class (optional). If the learners would like to use paper/pencil or their own dry-erase board/markers, etc instead of the online whiteboard, they can. All learning activities are optional (they are used for extra practice). Optional: Learners can post pictures of their favorite characters, toys, games, clothing, etc in our classroom each lesson to match the theme.
