In this onetime class, we focus on how to be thankful by singing songs, doing art and dancing.

We start this fun class with Listening to "Thanksgiving Day" song to warm up and then.... We discuss: "When is Thanksgiving?" "How do each one of us celebrate Thanksgiving?" "What is the meaning of being thankful?" "What are we thankful for?" Each learner take turns to share one or two things they are thankful for. With my instructions they will make their very own turkey, simply by tracing their hands on paper. Then we wrap up by doing a "hokey pokey" turkey dance together.
Learning Goals
Learners will:
-Improve listening skills by listening to meaningful songs.
-Practice speaking, interacting with others and critical thinking, focusing on Thanksgiving.
-Experience sensory time while making the turkey.
We will have fun with each other through learning about Thanksgiving.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
I will appreciate adults’ supervision for my younger learners in class, with their computer Mic. and making our turkey. However, to follow Outschool policy everyone should stay OFF camera except the learner/s who signed up for class.
