In this one-time class learners will practice identifying and applying,5 sight words that are on the Dolch Sight Word List, through a variety of different beach related activities. The outline of class: -Introduction of sight words -Practice identifying and spelling our new sight words through different activities -Listen to a read-aloud of a sight word book written by me (students will be using active listening techniques to get them to find the sight words in the story). They will also answer comprehension questions at the end of our story to evaluate their understanding. All students will be given a free copy of my sight word book to practice with after class!
